Dr. Pravin is actively involved in Undergraduate & Postgraduate teaching and training of advanced surgical skills to surgeons across India. His goal is to advance the specialty of Endoscopy & Laparoscopy surgery by conducting clinical and laboratory research, introducing new technology and newer modalities of endoscopic treatment.
It has been his constant endeavour to impart training in advanced endoscopic procedures to trainee doctors from India and abroad in order to improve GI healthcare and has set his sight on establishing a world class training institute in Aurangabad.
He has many publications in national as well as international journals to his credit. He has been a teaching and demonstrating faculty at various national and international conferences.
He has started Post Graduate CME a academic feast for General Surgery post graduate students.
Organized Hands on Training Workshop on 19th & 20th Aug. 2022 for post graduate students. The purpose of this workshop is to train the residents and junior faculties to improve their surgical skills.

Had a very successful “Live Hernia Small Group Teaching Workshop” including some lectures where budding surgeons across the country participated very actively to learn the nuances of various Laparoscopic Hernia Surgeries. Demonstrated live TEP, TAAP, Fundoplication and IPOM PLUS on 10/12/2022.

Hosted single theme workshop on Hernia. AWRCON-2023 (Organizing Chairman) , Hernia Redefined Live Operative Workshop on 6th August 2023 at MGM Medical College & Hospital.
To train more and more surgeons across the country we hosted this very unique workshop ‘AWRCON 2023 ‘ where we performed live 8 different hernia operations It was transmitted to 27 medical colleges across the country and more than 250 surgeons attended it. It was a grand success. Also signed MOU with AWRSC to start a fellowship program in Advanced Hernia surgery. Dr B Ramana Founder president of AWRSC, Dr Pramod Shinde President AWSRC, Dr Ramesh Punjani, immediate past president and treasurer, and Dr Sharad Sharma, Director of West Zone AWR are the faculty for this workshop.
Organized – ENDOSURG 2023 Conference on 17th & 18th June 2023. (Organizing Chairman).
In this workshop, the main focus is on how to master basic endoscopy including basic diagnostic endoscopy and therapeutic procedures like Banding, Balloon Dilatation, Polypectomy, etc. Also conducted a 2-day hands-on training program on Wet Lab, apart from the conference on 19th & 20th June 2023. This will be one of its first kind of workshops which will be conducted “For The Surgeons By Surgeons” throughout India.
