Organizing secretary of 31st Annual Conference of Maharashtra State Chapter of ASI MASICON-2009 Held at MGM’S Medical College and Hospital, Aurangabad on 29th Jan. to 1st Feb.2009. For the first time International faculty Dr. Gyuseog Choi from Korea, Dr. Nageshwar Reddy from Hyderabad, had demonstrated their skills and techniques in their fields. For the first time in this conference 4 new session were introduced.

Had organized state level Advanced “Therapeutic Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive surgery” Live Operative Workshop for two days in April 2004. Imminent faculties like Dr. C. Palanivelu from Coimbatore and Dr. Nageshwar Reddy from Hyderabad had demonstrated their skills and techniques in their fields. About 240 delegates attended this workshop.
Organizing Chairman of 1st ‘PG Week – 2010’ held at MGM’s Medical College and Hospital, Aurangabad in association with Aurangabad Surgical Society and Maharashtra State Chapter of ASI, 5 days extensive crash course for the practical exam preparation for the P.G. students in General Surgery. Organising Chairman of International Convention on challenges in Medical Education (ICCME-2015) organized by MGM Medical College and Hospital, Aurangabad on 9th to 11th Jan 2015 in Rukhmini Auditorium MGM Campus. 700 Delegates were attended this conference. 11 International and 32 National Faculties were delivered guest lectures on different topics.
Organizing Chairman of CME on “Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery” organized by MGM’s Medical Centre and Research Institute on 12/06/2016, at Dyotan Hall. 160 delegated attended this CME. Renowned faculties from Hyderabad and Coimbatore were delivered guest lectures.
He is invited as a faculty for CEMAST and Johnson and Johnson Ltd.

Organised Live Workshop on Proctology on 3rd March 2024 in association with . The workshop was aimed to make young surgeons aware of newer techniques in anal surgeries. More 10 cases done in this workshop like Haemorrhoid laser, fissure in ano, and difficult fistulas. Dr. Niranjan Agrawal (Past President ACRSI) and Dr. Kamal Gupta (Secretary ACRSI) present for this live workshop and operated interesting cases in colo-proctology.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Hosted single theme workshop on Hernia. AWRCON-2023 (Organizing Chairman) , Hernia Redefined Live Operative Workshop on 6th August 2023 at MGM Medical College & Hospital.
To train more and more surgeons across the country we hosted this very unique workshop ‘AWRCON 2023 ‘ where we performed live 8 different hernia operations It was transmitted to 27 medical colleges across the country and more than 250 surgeons attended it. It was a grand success. Also signed MOU with AWRSC to start a fellowship program in Advanced Hernia surgery. Dr B Ramana Founder president of AWRSC, Dr Pramod Shinde President AWSRC, Dr Ramesh Punjani, immediate past president and treasurer, and Dr Sharad Sharma, Director of West Zone AWR are the faculty for this workshop.

Organized – ENDOSURG 2023 Conference on 17th & 18th June 2023. (Organizing Chairman).
In this workshop, the main focus is on how to master basic endoscopy including basic diagnostic endoscopy and therapeutic procedures like Banding, Balloon Dilatation, Polypectomy, etc. Also conducted a 2-day hands-on training program on Wet Lab, apart from the conference on 19th & 20th June 2023. This will be one of its first kind of workshops which will be conducted “For The Surgeons By Surgeons” throughout India.

Had a very successful “Live Hernia Small Group Teaching Workshop” including some lectures where budding surgeons across the country participated very actively to learn the nuances of various Laparoscopic Hernia Surgeries. Demonstrated live TEP, TAAP, Fundoplication and IPOM PLUS on 10/12/2022.
